2023 has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride for Peacock and Bow. We kicked off the season on the Cornish Riviera, ended it in the rolling Hertfordshire countryside and visited everywhere in between. As the year draws to a close, Katharine, the visionary behind Peacock and Bow marquee hire, reflects on the moments of triumph, newfound wisdom and her aspirations for the year ahead.
Biggest lesson - Crafting relationships
This year, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that building strong relationships is so precious. We’ve created a brilliant network to support us with our jobs. I’m not just talking about the suppliers that fuel our marquee events with their seamless flow of high quality services. I also mean our partners behind the scenes, who help us keep the business going, such as our marketing team weaving the brand's narrative and the wizards who handle the finances. Each relationship is vital to our success and the genuine connections we’ve forged are the cornerstone of everything we do.
Proudest moment - The Peacock and Bow team
It’s hard to pick one specific moment. But, when I think about the whirlwind of logistics and creative ventures we’ve embarked on this season, I am so proud of the Peacock and Bow team. Each member is a master at what they do and they all bring a distinct flair to the table. It's their shared passion and dedication to making every marquee wedding and event that we do unforgettable that fuels the engine.
Who’s got Peacock and Bow’s back?
We wouldn't be able to create memorable, stylish and unique outdoor events without our Peacock and Bow support network. That includes our family, the P&B team, our marketing gurus shaping our online presence and all our suppliers from furniture hire to luxury loos to generators. I can’t express enough gratitude for the encouragement, support and guidance they give us.
Moments that sparkle, 2023’s highlight
I’ve attempted to pinpoint a singular highlight from the hundreds of sparkling moments we’ve been privileged to be part of this season. But, it's impossible to choose just one. So, the thing that's brought us the most joy has got to be the resounding feedback and the palpable buzz from clients in the aftermath of their big day. It’s their reactions, gratitude and elation, that resonates the most and serves as a lasting reminder of the magic our pole and canvas marquees create.
Marquee hire goals for the coming year, 2024
With each passing season we want more! More travels to new places, more happy couples, more spectacular events and more magic! Our determination to push the boundaries of our marquee setups grows and our goal is to craft even more breathtaking outdoor events, curate experiences that transcend expectations, and create memories that last in the hearts of our clients.
This New Year, it will be with heartfelt gratitude that myself and the Peacock and Bow family raise a toast to the wonderful couples who entrusted us with their cherished moments and to the hard-working suppliers who stood as pillars of support throughout the year.
